What is CPR?

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is an emergency procedure.

It consists of a repeated series of mouth-to-mouth respirations and chest compressions that allows a small amount of blood to circulate to the brain, heart, and other vital organs when the heart has stopped.

What is HANDS-ONLY CPR?

Hands-only CPR is the chest compression-only CPR.

Clinical trials have shown that hands-only CPR is at least as effective as standard CPR.

If someone suddenly collapses unconscious, a bystander can have an important role in saving this person's life.

Hands-only CPR is an effective, quicker, and easier way to perform CPR without prior CPR training. A bystander can learn from the following videos and should be more likely to attempt CPR when they have a chance.

First, call the emergency number:

911 if you are in the United States

000 if you are in Australia

112 if you are in Italy

For other countries check Wikipedia

Then, start hands-only CPR.
