oat

Oat, real name Avena sativa L., maintains proper gastrointestinal function in controlled diets, to reduce body weight and improve your slow digestive system.

Oat has an anti-hunger effect, it swells considerably in the presence of water, the fiber forms a gelatinous mass in the stomach that generates a sense of satiety.

It has also a mechanical effect on the intestine, the fiber that forms a gelatinous mass, additionally stimulates intestinal motility, without causing side effects and irritations.

Finally, oat has a barrier effect too, the viscous gel that forms traps fats and cholesterol and prevents their absorption.

Consume organic wholegrain oat-based cereals or oat bran.
